Blockopolis

Blockopolis is a minimalistic Tetris-inspired resource management city builder. Easy to jump into and learn, there's no shortage of choice and consequence — every block matters!

Place the falling blocks to construct towering skyscrapers. But beware—space is limited, and poor planning could leave your city in chaos!

Unlock 4 Unique Building Types: Utilize their unique mechanics and looks to keep your advantage going, and make your resources go as far as possible.

Upgrade Cards: Playing smart rewards you with power-ups and abilities to alter the game’s flow. Accelerate your accomplishments and personalize your builds by using Upgrade Cards creatively.

Grow Your Population: More population = more building space! Keep them happy, and your city will continue to expand.

Controls

(Keyboard and mouse support only at the moment)

Controlling Bricks while in Building View (Tetris-inspired)

• A,D or Left/Right Arrow Keys - move your bricks left/right inside the building
• Double Pressing S or Down Key - to spawn  bricks instantly inside
• W or Up Arrow Key - to go back to city view

Camera:

• Left Mouse - click on buildings and buttons
• Right Mouse - camera rotation
• Middle Mouse - zoom-in and out
• WASD / Arrow Keys - move camera around

What you see and can play here is just the beginning — more features including additional buildings, upgrades, and challenges are coming in future updates! The game's current look consists of placeholder art, and we will be giving everything a very slick facelift before the full release. Try the prototype out, give feedback, and help shape BLOCKOPOLIS into the ultimate minimalistic city-builder!
